1. Information We Collect

We collect information based on how you interact with our Application—either as a General User browsing the directory or as a Registered Business Owner.

A. For General Users (Browsing & Searching)

We believe in a frictionless experience. General users are not required to create an account or log in to search and view local businesses. However, we may automatically collect limited non-personal information to improve our app performance:

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage & Analytics Data: Search queries made within the app, categories viewed, and interaction timestamps (used to calculate anonymous visitor counts for local businesses).
• Location Data (Optional): With your explicit permission, we access your device’s precise or approximate GPS location to display nearby businesses and calculate distances. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

B. For Registered Business Owners

To list and manage a business on Digital UNA, shop owners and service providers must register an account. We collect:

• Personal & Business Contact Details: Owner Name, Business Name, Business Address, Phone Number, WhatsApp Contact Number, and Email Address.
• Business Operational Data: Shop timings, category/sub-category selections, and service descriptions.
• Media & Photos: Images uploaded by business owners, including shop banners, product photos, and daily promotional posts.
• Precise Business Location: GPS latitude and longitude coordinates mapped by the owner to allow customers to navigate to their physical store.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and provide the core functionality of the Digital UNA local directory.
• To display verified business listings, contact info, and promotional posts to local consumers in Una and surrounding areas.
• To enable one-tap communication features (direct calling and WhatsApp messaging between consumers and business owners).
• To provide location-based navigation and sorting (showing shops nearest to the user).
• To process premium subscriptions (Verified Badges, Daily Posts, and Visitor Analytics) for business accounts.
• To generate aggregate, anonymous analytics (such as total profile views and date-wise visitor counts) for premium business owners.
• To prevent fraud, spam, and unauthorized or fake business listings.

3. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. However, we integrate trusted third-party service providers to facilitate app operations:

• Map & Navigation Services (Google Maps / Apple Maps): Used to render maps, pin business locations, and provide driving/walking directions.
• Cloud Storage & Analytics: Trusted cloud infrastructure providers used to securely host our database, business images, and application logs.

4. Camera & Media Library Permissions

For Registered Business Owners, our app requests permission to access the device camera and photo gallery. This access is strictly used to allow business owners to upload their shop banners, product pictures, and daily business offers. We do not access, scan, or download any photos or media from your device other than those specifically selected and uploaded by you.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

We retain user and business data only as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal obligations.

To request account and data deletion:

• You can request deletion directly through the app support/settings menu.
• Alternatively, send an email to our support team at technowavesitsolution@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request - Digital UNA" along with your registered phone number.

Upon verification, your business listing and personal details will be permanently erased from our active databases within 7 to 14 working days.

6. Security of Your Information

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. All data transmission between the mobile application and our backend servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Application is a general audience business directory and does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will immediately delete such data from our servers.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification.
